Piedmont is its own city surrounded on every side by Oakland, so a tech is usually already close. The houses on Highland Ave, the streets above Piedmont Park and the blocks near Grand Ave date from the 1910s through the 1930s and carry mortise and rim locks that need a careful hand rather than a drill. Rekeys after a sale, deadbolt upgrades and home safe openings make up most visits, at the same published rates as the rest of the map.
Mention if the house has a gated driveway or a service entrance the tech should use, and whether the hardware is original to the house, so the right cylinders come along.
Piedmont is at the edge of our East Bay coverage, so arrival runs about 20 minutes. Every service and price on this site applies there without a distance surcharge.

FAQ
Asked about Piedmont
Piedmont is surrounded by Oakland. Is it quicker than twenty minutes?+
Sometimes, and never much slower. A van working Piedmont Avenue or the Grand Ave side is a few minutes from the city line, so twenty minutes is a safe average rather than a ceiling. The climb up Highland Ave and the streets above Piedmont Park adds a little, and narrow lanes with no curb parking add a little more.
A wall safe came with the house and nobody has the combination. What then?+
Safe opening runs $165 to $475 depending on the make and how it is mounted. The technician works the lock first. If that make needs a drill point, it is described and approved before anything is touched, then repaired and re-set so the safe still locks afterward. A model number given on the call decides which tools ride along.
