Commercial doors carry more variety than houses: Adams Rite deadlatches on aluminum storefronts, mortise locks on office suites, lever locks with interchangeable cores, roll-up gates with cylinder locks along International Blvd. The tech reads the door and picks, decodes or bypasses first. Authorization is stricter than at a house. Bring ID plus a lease, a business license, a utility statement, or a text from the owner naming you. Once inside, the affected cylinder can be rekeyed on the same visit so a missing key stops mattering by lunch.

Business lockouts run $115 to $215. A single deadlatch or lever lock in daytime is $115. Mortise cases, high-security cylinders, interchangeable cores and doors with two locking points move toward $215. The $89 service call is part of that figure. A same-visit rekey is $21 to $36 per cylinder, listed separately. Evening calls add $35 and overnight calls add $70; a $115 opening before 7am is therefore $185.

The call sets the rate. A text gives the tech's name, the van and the window. On site the tech checks authorization, opens the door, tests the lock, and offers the rekey if a key is unaccounted for. Payment is card or tap, and the itemized receipt goes to whatever email your bookkeeper prefers while the van is still parked outside.
